Hermès Autumn/Winter 2010 Men’s Ready-to-Wear
Veronique Nichanian brought in a sophisticated, free-expression looks to HermèsAutumn/Winter 2010 Men’s Ready-to-Wear collection with “Prince of Wales” inspiration focusing on solid colors and new stripes and prints. The collection is defined under 3 themes: Casual wear, Business and Evening.
The Colors of Autumn/Winter 2010 are in 2 shades; shade of Neutral tones with navy grey, flannel, pepper, cement, mastic, black and shade of Blue & Red called bleu de prusse and amarante.
The Shapes and Fabric : Shape of short coat are straight and double breasted, a jacket with elbow pad and under collar in leather underlined, straight and slim trousers, sport shirt with double pockets and leather straps. The warm fabrics used are solid and checked wool seersucker, mohair and wool, cotton and silk velvet.
New and exotic materials are velvet calfskin, pierced etrivière mink, aged crocodile, and shaved beaver.
Accessories : Introducing “Bad Boy” belt with detachable chain and “Bellini” belt made of palladium silver-plated brass (jewellery-style belt), and “Bricolo” belt with saddle stud signature. Giant scarf in cashmere and silk and cashmere tie are also a key piece of the collection. New silver-plated bangle called “Binome” is a new edition of 70’s bracelet for men.
