Fendi Brings to Life the Forest of Desire in Fall/Winter 2008 Fashion Show
From glistening gold fur to iconic cabochon-studded accessories, Fendi’s Lost in Fendi Forest Fall/Winter 2008 Fashion Show promises to be a pure paradise for all Thai fashion connoisseurs.
Fendi partners with Gaysorn Shopping Center to unveil the latest Fall/Winter 2008 collection, transforming the ground floor into a winter forest of leafless trees luring in fashionistas across the country. Home to the Italian brand’s flagship store and venue to an event of the year, Gaysorn thus affirms its recognition as a world-class shopping center providing only exclusive experience to discerning individuals with special activities that reflect its customers’ refined tastes and expectations.
Lost in Fendi Forest is set for Wednesday, 20 August, 2008 at 19.00 hours on Gaysorn’s ground floor. With the fashion house’s unparalleled reputation for design and artistry, a theatrical touch is added to the show, revealing a runway-turned winter forest adorned with shimmering cabochons. As for the after party, expect wine and champagne extravaganza and lush, pulsing vibes turning the fabulous forest of Fendi into a hub of party lovers.
Tiptoeing through the canopy of the leafless trees are models wrapped in Fendi’s latest creations inspired by the most fascinating aspect of nature. Clothes emerge with the appearance of dry leaves fluttering from necks and shoulders, challenging the contrasts of defined graphics and super soft curves. Large belts over cape coats and cardigans with poufed sleeves and high collars outlining the bust and defining the waistline promise to be the ‘IT look’ of the season. Silk organza, cable knit, Astrakhan cashmere and nappa leather in classic tones flood the runway.
Yet turning the heads of fashionistas is the novelty of the season: FENDI GOLD FUR. Obtained through a molecular division made possible by nanotechnology, where gold atoms are melted and transferred onto the fur bristles, this patented technology gives light to a unique element, a magical and precious touch to Fendi’s signature fur coats made of mink, Persian lamb and fox furs. With its natural softness, unique metallic shine and incredible lightness, the ‘Metal Lite’ fur is thus a true jewel created by Fendi’s master
fur atelier at transforming models on the runway into graceful nymphs wandering through the winter woods.
To complement the cocoon form in this season’s ready-to-wear, Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Venturini Fendi revisited the very high heels knee-high and ankle-high boots, delighting the hearts of true Fendi fans with to-die-for suede, leather and patent boots in the most sophisticated shades of wood and brushwood.
Another object of desire from this season’s runway is ‘Secret Code’ handbags. Inspired by the design of a safe where the cabochons represents the looks, the handbags demonstrate refined craftsmanship with the structure, classic forms and large cabochons embellishment as the distinctive work.

แฟชั่นโชว์เปรี้ยวกลางป่าฤดูหนาว Lost in Fendi Forest จะจัดขึ้นในวันพุธที่ 20 สิงหาคมนี้ เวลา 19.00 น. ณ ชั้น G ศูนย์การค้าเกษร สาวกเฟนดิเตรียมพบกับรันเวย์สุดอลังการ ซึ่งถูกบันดาล เป็นผืนป่าไร้ใบยามรัตติกาลประดับดุม Cabochon แทนเงาสะท้อนระยิบของกรวดหินยามค่ำคืน และปาร์ตี้หรูที่ธารน้ำกลางป่าถูกแทนที่ด้วยไวน์ และแชมเปญให้เหล่าแฟชั่นนิสต้าได้ดื่มด่ำตลอดคืน
