Greyhound Original – ELLE Fashion Week 2010
Launched its autumn/winter 2010 collection under a daring theme: “Art is like medicine”. Renowned modern artist Damien Hurst’s installation works inspires the collection, as the artist believes that art is like medicine that can soothe the human soul. Many graphic works and techniques used in the collection reflect this idea, playing with the deconstruction of pattern structure, fabric layering over embossed effect and the sharp edge between two contrasting colours. The overall collection for men sees a clean and lean look, where the pattern is comprised of modern cuttings with sharp lines of contrasting colours at shoulder level, evoking charm. Colours used range from various blacks and shades of grey to incorporation of salmon pinks, light blue and greens.
