กรมส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศ กระทรวงพาณิชย์ จัดพิธีเปิดงานแสดงสินค้าแฟชั่นและงานแสดงสินค้าเครื่องหนัง ครั้งที่ 33 ปี 2558 อย่างเป็นทางการ โดยพิธีเปิดงานจัดขึ้น ณ บริเวณเวทีแฟชั่นโชว์ ชาเลนเจอร์ 1 อิมแพ็ค เมืองทองธานี ภายในงานได้รับเกียรติจาก นางนันทวัลย์ ศกุลตนาค อธิบดีกรมส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศ กระทรวงพาณิชย์ เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิด จากนั้นประธานในพิธีกล่าวรายงานและขอบคุณแขกผู้มีเกียรติรวมถึงสื่อมวลชนที่ให้เกียรติ เข้าร่วมงานในวันนี้ จากนั้น พบกับการแสดงและแฟชั่นโชว์ จากสินค้าของเหล่าผู้ประกอบการที่นำมาแสดงภายในงาน ปิดท้ายด้วยการถ่ายภาพร่วม กันระหว่างท่านประธาน ผู้บริหารของกรมฯ และนายกสมาคม ผู้ร่วมจัดงาน
ในช่วงบ่าย เป็นงานแถลงข่าวเปิดตัว METI หรือโครงการจาก Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry จากประเทศ ญี่ปุ่นที่ให้เกียรติมาร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งภายในงานแสดงสินค้าแฟชั่นและสินค้าเครื่องหนังครั้งนี้ METI คือโครงการที่จัดขึ้น โดยการให้ความร่วมมือจากรัฐบาลญี่ปุ่นในการส่งเสริมผู้ประกอบการเพื่อให้มีพื้นที่ให้การแสดงสินค้า และช่องทางการจัดจำหน่ายผ่านทางเว็บไซต์ระดับอินเตอร์เนชั่นแนลภายในงานแถลงข่าวได้รับเกียรติจากนางจันทิรา ยิมเรวัต วิวัฒน์รัตน์ รองอธิบดีกรมส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศ กระทรวงพาณิชย์ ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดงานร่วมกับประธานจาก METI โดยทั้งสองกล่าวรายงานบนเวทีจากนั้นเป็นการถ่ายภาพร่วมกันระหว่างประธานทั้ง 2 ฝ่ายและแขกผู้เกียรติ พร้อม พบกับการแสดงแฟชั่นโชว์จากสินค้าที่ได้เข้าร่วมในโครงการ METI ซึ่งเป็นการปิดท้ายการแถลงข่าว

Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce officially opens the 33rd Bangkok International Fashion Fair and Bangkok International Leather Fair 2015 or BIFF&BIL 2015 with main theme called “Cathing the Creative Spirit”. This latest concept revealed new appearance and activities in order to make BIFF&BILL 2015 the source of creativity and the hub that offers complete cycle of Fashion and Leather goods Trade Fair. The fair involves the best product, material, design elements from upstream to downstream of the Southeast Asia. The grand opening ceremony was held at Fashion Show Stage, Challenger 1, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani.
Mrs. Nuntawan Sakuntanaga, Director General of Commerce hosted the official opening ceremony. The Deputy Minister delivered the opening remarks and expressed thanks to the honorable guests and the press for participating in the event. Then the event followed by a performances and fashions from exhibitors. The opening sequence ended iwth group photo opportunity with the Deputy Minister, DITP’s executive and Presidents of the Associations.
In the afternoon, the event continued with the press conference for the official launch of METI or projects from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, who participated in BIFF&BIL 2015. METI is a collaborative project with the Government of Japan, in order to support business owners with exhibition and distribution channels through international websites. Mrs. Chantira Jimreivat Vivatrat, Deputy Director General of Department of International Trade Promotion co-hosted the press conference with chairperson from METI. After their remarks, both countries’ executives and honorable guests took photographs together then viewed the concluding fashion show that showcased products that participated in METI project.
