CHANEL is delighted to present the latest collection of Spring – Summer 2007 to customers and world-class brand lovers at Fashion Hall, Siam Paragon.  Here, the stage will be turned into world-class white catwalk, just like in Paris.

The Special highlight will be the first-time live broadcast through more than 139 monitors throughout Siam Paragon, both plaza and department store areas.

For this Spring and Summer, the outfits show new, long and lean proportions with focus on black and white colors.  Frayed on a yellow backdrop, solo jackets are laid over rising briefs with black sequins and delicately pleated chiffon blouses.  Facetious, precious jersey bathing suits with tweed effects are worn with long necklaces, chain belts and large cuff bracelets.  New jeans, new proportions.  Reinterpreting without repeating, Karl Lagerfeld imprisons the denim under organza veils and gives this universal clothing item a new attitude, henceforth emphasizing the waistline.  The evening electrifies everyone’s gaze.  Embroidered with capsules, draped, pleated, ribbed, trimmed with smocking, bustier or with spaghetti straps, these little black dresses are cut of vaporous chiffon, delicate crepe and ottoman silk.  Gold and silver become major accents : the former on a dress and a white tweed vast or on the bust of a black chiffon dress; the latter is applied in glittery embroidery on a white crepe dress.  A profusion of accessories: necklaces and chain belts, large golden or silvery bracelets or engraved with quotes from Mademoiselle Chanel.  But also, quilted bags or evening bags which come out with a coat of mail or round out in double black and silver discs.  All this proves that CHANEL is a timeless modernity which must enter into every day life.
